Most hunters would not enter the woods without their pack. When you embark on a hunting adventure, the hope of success breeds the need for a few items to be carted along. Most of us will never need a survival kit but the chance of an emergency situation is a lot higher than one may think and including some essentials in your pack might not be a bad idea. I have a bad reputation for cutting myself. I have skinned and gutted a lot of game and in my confidence I find myself being careless. I have found the items in our survival kit very helpful on more than one occasion. Below I have included a list of some of the emergency items we carry and shortly I will post an article that delves into each item to explain the potential uses for it and why we find it an important addition to our packs.
